Steelers WR Wallace to stay in Pitt but at what cost?

Mike Wallace the Steelers wide receiver is an restricted free agent. This means people can offer him contracts but the Steelers have a chance to reply with an offer of their own but no one did so he is set to stay a Steeler. This really comes at no surprise as Rooney said they wanted to keep him and give him a long term deal. Wallace said that he wants to stay in Pittsburgh but will not show up to any training's or work outs without a revised deal. This could cost the Steelers valuable developing time with him.

  1. I think its important we sign him long term. He is a valuable deep threat that most teams don't have. He will definitely be worth the money.

  3. Wallace is amazing, I definitely want him to stay a Steeler. However we have a great WR core and if he wants to stay our number one then he needs to be coming to workouts and resign his contract. A lot was reconstructed to try and get under the cap to be able to keep him, he needs to show the organization some respect and stay here. He won't find a better place to play.
