Mike Wallace the Steelers wide receiver is an restricted free agent. This means people can offer him contracts but the Steelers have a chance to reply with an offer of their own but no one did so he is set to stay a Steeler. This really comes at no surprise as Rooney said they wanted to keep him and give him a long term deal. Wallace said that he wants to stay in Pittsburgh but will not show up to any training's or work outs without a revised deal. This could cost the Steelers valuable developing time with him.
I think its important we sign him long term. He is a valuable deep threat that most teams don't have. He will definitely be worth the money.
ReplyDeleteI hope the bears pick him up, we have the $$$
ReplyDeleteWallace is amazing, I definitely want him to stay a Steeler. However we have a great WR core and if he wants to stay our number one then he needs to be coming to workouts and resign his contract. A lot was reconstructed to try and get under the cap to be able to keep him, he needs to show the organization some respect and stay here. He won't find a better place to play.
